There have been several issues lately that have grabbed my interest.  Here is a list of some of the things you should expect to see discussed in the near future:

• Cloud computing – a big and buzz-wordy topic these days.  I will try and add my two sense
• Data Privacy and Security Legislation – there are a bunch of proposals flying around Congress to update privacy laws
• e-Discovery – the eternal elephant in the room that everyone has to deal with but nobody really likes
• Data Privacy and breach regulations – thoughts on Gramm-Leach-Bliley, COPPA changes, and state data breach regulations
• Fourth Amendment – becoming very interesting with recent GPS cases and one of my favorite topics

Well, I’ve tried and false started on this blogging thing a few times.  Now that I have embarked on my career as an attorney (not yet barred, but assuming all went well, soon!) I wanted to create a platform that let me investigate legal topics that are interesting to me and force me to dig a little deeper and learn more about them in order to put together a decent post.

We’ll see how it goes.

All the standard caveats apply – this is my personal site and is not associated in any way with my employer or my employer’s views.  That said, I am going to keep it relatively tame and probably not post anything that mightbe problematic.

Giving the blogging thing one more shot. Gonna stick with it this time. Honest!
